Puppy Kindergarten

Program to teach young puppies basic cues like Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Leave-it, Place, Heel and loose leash walking introduction. We will also cover topics such as house manners, potty training and socialization.

Adult Dog Training

Program to meet your dog at her level, whether she’s been with your family from the beginning or recently adopted from a rescue.  We can focus on obedience cues or any problem behaviors (barking, pulling/lunging on leash or poor house manners). We also offer advanced training such as off-leash work or preparation for Therapy Dog Certification.

AKC Family Dog Program

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) – a ten skill training program that focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience. It also lays the foundation for other activities like AKC advanced programs, agility, and therapy work.

AKC Community Canine (CGCA) – This program takes the skills learned in CGC Program and puts them to use in a real-world setting.

AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) The skills learned in this program are designed for dogs who are likely to encounter busy streets, large crowds, public buildings, and elevators.

Puppy Companion

Program to proof all the cues taught in Puppy Kindergarten with a focus on reliability in public settings.  We will practice in locations where you and your family spend the most time.  Our goal is to encourage a happy, confident puppy who enjoys outings.

Virtual Coaching

Come as you are – Training from the comfort of your home! We can cover any questions from puppy basics to off-leash walking and anything in between.  I’ll use my dog to demonstrate any necessary cues.  

Happy Vet Visits

Does the very thought of a trip to the veterinarian or groomer fill you with dread? As a Fear Free Certified Professional, I can help to make these visits less stressful for you and your dog. This will be accomplished through teaching cues, scheduling “happy visits” and partnering with your veterinary and grooming teams.
